![]() ![]() ![]() The headset is still sounding fine but people say my mic sounds really bad, I have replaced it recently with a proper Astro replacement got from Amazon and it may be the Mix Amp or Firmware or connections or any of the above? I seem to remember when they released there was firmware. I tried to find Firmware online before and the Command centre, when I checked a while ago, did not even see my device. How, and maybe Can I? update my Firmware for both units? I have the ORIGIONAL GEN 1 ASTRO A40'S with Original GEN 1 MixAmp Pro.īoth WIRED ie: no base station (and black colour in case it helps?). This method should work for the command center compatible headsets, just make sure to find the firmware for your headset.e The above link is the latest firmware for the gen 4 A50s, here is the link for the gen 3s Then just open the command center, and manually select the firmware update and you should be good. Make sure to uninstall the microsoft store version as my headset would not be recognized until the MS store one was uninstalled. If they dont work in chrome, copy and paste into firefox and they should download. You can download the non microsoft verision of their app here, and download the latest firmware here There is only one way to download the website version of the command center that I found now but it is deep in their website, not the default software page. I just spent the last hour trying to figure out how to get the firmware updated as it would always be stuck on step 0 for the update even after manually downloading the firmware. ![]()
